Welcome To Normalize
The Woo

“Normalize the Woo is a reminder that the things we’ve been taught to call “woo woo” may simply be forgotten parts of ourselves waiting to be remembered.”

Welcome to Normalize the Woo

Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Normalize the Woo is a creative and educational space bringing together cyclical living, menstrual cycle education, nature-based learning, spirituality, self-discovery, creativity, and intentional gift-giving.

At the heart of my work is a Liberated Learning approach to cyclical living — helping women explore their menstrual cycles, understand their individual rhythms, reconnect with their bodies, and discover what they can learn from themselves and the natural world.

But Normalize the Woo has never fit neatly into one box — and that’s kind of the point.

Here you’ll also find limited-edition Soul Prompts card decks and Soul Prompts readings, custom gift baskets, Blind Date with a Book, mystery gifts, creative vending experiences, mini photography, poetry, reflective resources, and upcoming video content.

Explore the Offerings page to learn more and inquire about bringing Normalize the Woo to your next Philadelphia-area vendor event.

Come curious. Leave a little more connected.

About me

Hi, I’m Ashley Rivera

I’m a mother, creative, educator, and entrepreneur who has spent a lot of my life trying to figure out which one of my interests I was supposed to choose. Eventually, I realized I didn’t have to choose just one.

I have a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, a Creative Writing certificate, and certifications in Liberated Learning and Menstrual Cycle Education. Each has expanded the way I understand life, creativity, holistic awareness, our bodies, nature, and the ways we learn about ourselves.

Creativity has always been one of the ways I express who I am. My love language is gift-giving, so I love taking what I know about someone and turning it into something made especially for them. I write, create, make custom gifts, and take photographs — especially of nature and outdoor experiences. I don’t consider myself a traditional photographer with a ton of fancy equipment; I simply have an eye for noticing the little details and moments that other people might pass by.

My Liberated Learning journey, including nature-as-teacher practices and Indigenous perspectives, helped me explore parts of myself through nature, ancestry, reflection, and connection. My Menstrual Cycle Educator training became another bridge — this time back to the body. It made me realize just how much information about women’s bodies, anatomy, menstrual cycles, hormones, and cyclical living many of us were never given. I want to help make that information easier to understand and explore, including how we can become more aware of our own inner seasons and individual cycles.

At the heart of everything I create is a desire to be of service to others. Whether I’m sharing something I’ve learned, creating a meaningful gift, taking a photograph, holding space for a conversation, or simply helping someone feel seen, I want this platform to be a way of reaching people, giving back, and being part of something beautiful.

More than anything, I’m curious. I love learning something, experiencing it for myself, creating from it, and then finding a way to share it with someone else. As I continue expanding this work — including an upcoming YouTube series focused on education, exploration, spirituality, and conversation — I hope Normalize the Woo can be a place where what I’ve learned and created becomes something meaningful for someone else.

I may never fit neatly into one title, and I’m finally okay with that. Everything you see here is an expansion of my creativity, my education, my lived experiences, and my desire to leave something good behind.
